If you're ever walking alone in the wilderness, this is the soundtrack to your lonely quest.
Now if there ever was (or is) something on this blog to deserve the label ''Black Forest'' (for tunes requiring introspection, somber moods and imaginative intensity to fully appreciate) this is most definitely it. Forest Swords is an artist preoccupied first and foremost with a vision, a particular dream, a concept. This music is to be felt as the emotional texture of a lone journey, which I like to imagine as the dread task of a single, desperate man. Your visions may vary. Listen to it alone in the dark and I promise they will come.
As to this one, it holds a sense of longing and mystery. The title's deeper meaning remains cryptic, its intentions obscured by the general feeling of melancholy emanating from the piece. I like it.
The last one's title is misleading, as there is no light to be found here but the cold emanation of an uncaring sky. For can light without warmth really be called light?
